The Vltava, the longest river in the Czech Republic, is a great place for a stroll and exploring Prague from the water. A walk along the banks and a boat ride through the river offer unique panoramic views of historical monuments & beautiful buildings such as the Charles Bridge, Prague Castle and National Theatre. You can usually borrow a paddle boat or a rowboat from one of the rental companies from April to October. We rented ours from S.P.L.A.V. on Slovanský Ostrov.
