They say the most sustainable clothes are those you already have in your closet. How do you make the most out of it? Let me show you how I create 5 outfits made of my favourite items. Let me know what combo is your favourite in comments below.
Got the most wonderful vintage pants some few years ago without trying them on and thought they’d fit since the label said it’s my size. How disappointed I was finding out later on at home that they DO NOT FIT at all. My mistake, didn’t realise vintage sizes are different than they are now. However, somehow I didn’t get rid of them and by living a healthier lifestyle I managed to get more fit – YAY! How happy I was then, finding those pants again at my parents house to find out I can finally rock them around!
I don’t suggest buying any clothes without trying them on, you guys. We don’t want to buy something that we’ll need to get rid of. Lesson learnt 🙂
This year’s Fashion Revolution Week’s topic is #lovedclotheslast . I need to say that I finally got to the point where I love ALL of my clothes. How did I get there? By donating my used clothes to charity shops, swapping them at SWAP events and getting “new” items secondhand and from friends. Only keeping the ones I really really like and not getting anything else unless I fall in love with it.
